In aid of our first ‘tributary’ mission, Voices of Water founder, Emmeline and camera operator, Adam, are walking from Cornwall to South Wales, a pilgrimage, to share the word about the petition and connect with Rivers and people. A deeper message behind the pilgrimage, and another core focus on VoW, is one of reconnection with the waters we all come from. This our ancient ancestors knew, honouring water bodies as entities, flowing beings, reflected in stories, beliefs, and sacred traditions.

Following a Celtic route, Emmeline and Adam will connect with rivers and sacred water spaces, meeting with many who have offered to share their knowledge of the history and practices of old with the waters of these lands, as well as with those advocating for river rights and protection in many ways.  Follow the pilgrimage journey on our socials and keep updated with the petition and our overall mission.
